Step by Step Guide to getting started with Tableau Next

If you are brand new to Tableau Next as a Salesforce Partner, follow the steps below to get started on your journey.

Step 1 - Join the Partner Community

The Partner Community provides you with access to other partners so you can share information, receive product updates, get notifications about upcoming releases and participate in events. It’s also your gateway to the Partner Learning Camp.

Contact your company’s Partner Community administrator and request access to the Partner Community
Complete the Salesforce Partner Community Trailhead module to learn about the Partner Community
Login to the Salesforce Partner Community
Join the Tableau for Partners Chatter group and the Salesforce Data Cloud Chatter Groups

Step 2 - Watch On-Demand Content on Salesforce+

Tableau Next took center stage at Tableau Conference 2025. Many of these sessions are available for you to watch on Salesforce+. Here are a few to get you started:

Step 4 - Complete Self-Paced Learning

Unlock Actionable Data Insights with Tableau Next will help you learn to use Tableau Next to get and share data insights everywhere work happens.

Unlock Your Data with Data Cloud is a great way to learn the basics of Data Cloud. Focus on the content in the first three sections (Learn About Data Cloud Core Capabilities, Set Up and Administer Data Cloud, and Connect and Model Your Data).

Tableau Semantics will get you started on your Tableau Next journey by introducing the Tableau Semantics layer, which powers Tableau Next's capabilities.

Step 5 - Attend Virtual Training Sessions & the Implementation Expert Workshop

Implementation Expert Workshops and Hands-On Training are offered to partners. Please check the Events Calendar to identify a convenient time for you.

Where do I get access to a Tableau Next Demo / Developer org?

Partners may access the full features of Tableau Next via SDOs. Instructions for obtaining an SDO are available in Partner Community.

Concierge (Agentforce for Analytics) access is currently by request only. If you wish to request Concierge access in your SDO, please submit a form here and we'll let you know once it is available (targeting 2-3 days).
