Step by Step Guide to getting started with Public Sector Solutions

If you are brand new to Public Sector Solutions as a Salesforce Partner, follow the steps below to get started on your journey.

Step 1 - Join the Partner Community

The Partner Community provides you with access to other partners so you can share information, receive product updates, get notifications about upcoming releases and participate in events. It’s also your gateway to the Partner Learning Camp.

Contact your company’s Partner Community administrator and request access to the Partner Community
Complete the Salesforce Partner Community Trailhead module to learn about the Partner Community
Login to the Salesforce Partner Community
Join the Salesforce Public Sector Solutions Experts Group

Step 2 - Access the Partner Learning Camp

The Partner Learning Camp self-paced courses help partners prepare for the Accredited Professional exams. To access the Partner Learning Camp:

Go to the Partner Community
Click the “Learn” tab
Click the “Start Learning” button on the Partner Learning Camp tile

Step 4 - Complete Trailheads and Partner Learning Camp Courses

Utilizing the Trailhead, Partners can learn the basics of various Public Sector Solutions functionality.

Utilizing the Partner Learning Camp, partners can learn the various Public Sector Solutions offered by Salesforce and its capabilities to help prepare for the AP exam.

The Implemenation Readiness Curriculum courses are a deep dive into the capabilities of Salesforce Public Sector Solutions and are a great way to learn the product from the ground up and prepare for the Accredited Professional exams.

Step 5 - Take the Accredited Professional Credential Exams

The Salesforce Public Sector Solutions Accredited Professional credentials allow Partners to benchmark their technical competency in Salesforce Public Sector Solutions.

Step 6 - Attend Implementation Expert Workshops - Virtual & Live

Attend workshops to augment your implementation expertise and advance your knowledge parallel to product releases.

Where do I get access to a Public Sector Solutions Demo / Developer org?

Trial Orgs: These orgs are perfect for learners and comes with different options, Learning Org, Base Org, Pre Release Org. For more details, refer to Trial Orgs
Industry Demo Org: These are generally used for Demo purposes. For more details, refer to Demo Orgs, refer to know more on features available and how to spin the org from here.
Partner Developer Edition: These are orgs are perfect for Partner who wants to build Accelerators, Demos and would like use it for long term. For more details, refer to Demo and Dev Station
Government Cloud: This is Special Org and is available only on request and will be provisioned based on the eligibility criteria. For more details, refer to Demo and Dev Station
