Step by Step Guide to getting started with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform

If you are brand new to MuleSoft Anypoint Platform as a Salesforce Partner, follow the steps below to get started on your journey.

Step 1 - Join the Partner Community

The Partner Community provides you with access to other partners so you can share information, receive product updates, get notifications about upcoming releases and participate in events. It’s also your gateway to the Partner Learning Camp.

Contact your company’s Partner Community administrator and request access to the Partner Community
Complete the Salesforce Partner Community Trailhead module to learn about the Partner Community
Login to the Salesforce Partner Community
Join the Salesforce MuleSoft Chatter group

Step 2 - Access the Partner Learning Camp

The Partner Learning Camp self-paced courses help partners prepare for the Accredited Professional exams. To access the Partner Learning Camp:

Go to the Partner Community
Click the “Learn” tab
Click the “Start Learning” button on the Partner Learning Camp tile

Step 3 - Register for Office Hours

We host a monthly event - Mule This Month to share all product innovation and Roadmap. We welcome our partners to use this session to ask any on of the their queries.

Step 4 - Complete Trailheads and Partner Learning Camp Courses

Utilizing the Partner Learning Camp, partners can learn the basics of the core Salesforce platform as well as gain an understanding of the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and its capabilities to help prepare for both exams.

The MuleSoft Associate courses provide an understanding of the MuleSoft Capabilities to set up the partner for success when learning about MuleSoft.

The other courses are a deep dive into the capabilities of MuleSoft and are a great way to learn the product from the ground up and prepare for the Accredited Professional exams.

If you already have a foundational understanding of MuleSoft APIs, and integration, you can advance your skills by taking the MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 1 and MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 2 exams. Learn more about Developer Certifications.

Step 5 - Take the Accredited Architect Credential Exams

The Salesforce Certified MuleSoft credentials allow Partners to benchmark their technical competency as a MuleSoft Architects.

Step 6 - Attend Implementation Expert Workshops - Virtual & Live

Stay ahead of the curve. Our workshops are designed to enhance your implementation expertise and keep your knowledge in sync with the latest product releases.

Where do I get access to a MuleSoft Anypoint Platform Demo / Developer org?

To request a MuleSoft Demo Orgs and additional entitlements, please follow the below process:

Login to Salesforce Partner Community Portal.
Once logged into the Partner Community, navigate to the “?” icon in the top right corner of the page. Then select “Log a Case for Help” and follow the steps below. Fill Out Subject and Description

1. Subject: Partner Programs & Benefits
2. Description: Request for MuleSoft Demo Org
Please wait up to 30 seconds for Product & Topic pick list to populate
Select 'Partner Programs & Benefits - Demo & Partner Business Orgs' from pick list.
If 'Partner Programs & Benefits - Demo & Partner Business Orgs' does not appear, select 'Pick a different product & topic'
3. Add MuleSoft Instance Org ID
4. Select instance type: Production
5. Select Severity (1-4 levels)
6. Add Collaborators: Include additional contacts (email) that should be notified of the specific request (internal and/or external)
7. Select ‘Create Case’

Partner Operations Support will review the case and determine eligibility. If the Partner is eligible, the partner will be asked to provide the additional information.
