Step by Step Guide to getting started with B2C Composable Commerce
If you are brand new to B2C Composable Commerce as a Salesforce Partner, follow the steps below to get started on your journey.
Step 1 - Complete Certification Prerequisites and Supplementary Trailheads
Take the B2C Commerce and JavaScript Certification ExamsThe B2C Commerce certifications allow partners to benchmark their technical competency as a B2C Commerce Developer or Architect. The B2C Commerce Developer certification is a hard requirement.
Access to Trailhead is required to register for the exams.
Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer (Required)
The Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer credential is designed for those who have experience as full-stack developers for Salesforce Commerce Cloud.

Salesforce B2C Commerce Architect (Recommended)
The Salesforce B2C Commerce Architect credential is for specialists who design global sites that support multiple brands and channels using standard design patterns.

Salesforce JavaScript Developer I (Recommended)
The Salesforce Certified JavaScript Developer I certification is intended for candidates who develop front-end and/or back-end JavaScript applications for the web stack.

This hands-on project walks you through setting up the Visual Studio Code IDE while introducing you to some key concepts. It takes approximately 25 minutes to complete.

Step 2 - Join the Partner CommunityThe Partner Community provides you with access to other partners so you can share information, receive product updates, get notifications about upcoming releases and participate in events. It’s also your gateway to the Partner Learning Camp.

Step 4 - Register for Office HoursThe All Commerce Product Office Hour is held on a periodic basis. It provides partners the opportunity to learn more about upcoming features, announcements and release schedules. Plus, partners can engage directly with the Commerce, Order Management and Payment product team members to ask questions.

Step 5 - Complete the Tier 1 TrainingUse one of these options to learn the process and skills needed to create, configure and extend a composable storefront that provides a high-performance shopping experience for your customers. They’re offered in both instructor-led and self-paced formats.
Option 1: Attend Instructor Led Training⚠️Note: There is high demand for Tier 1 training in this format and active engagements take priority:If getting into the session seems unlikely, you can use Option 2 below (Partner Learning Camp). There’s significant material overlap as both the Tier 1 instructor led training and Partner Learning Camp courses are based on the original partner workshops.
