Step by Step Guide to getting started with Revenue Cloud Advanced

If you are brand new to Revenue Cloud Advanced as a Salesforce Partner, follow the steps below to get started on your journey.

Step 1 - Join the Partner Community

Step 2 - Access the Partner Journey Map

The Revenue Cloud Learning Journey contains all product-released enablement content beginning with the Generally Available Release (Spring '25) through to the current release.

To complete the hands-on exercises create a scratch org utilizing the TF ID: 0TTWs000000kixJ

There are some additional steps required to fully setup the org to engage the Spring ’25 Release Enablement Content:

Go to the App Launcher→ Product Catalog Management → Index and Search Configuration → Rebuild Index → Full Index Rebuild
Setup → Salesforce Pricing Setup → Sync (This is for refreshing all Pricing DTs)
Refresh ProductQualificationDT and ProductDisqualificationDT in Setup → Decision Tables
Update the Document Generation Settings in Setup. Go to Setup → Document Generation Settings → Select "Edit" on the DocGen record. Enable the "Enable Batch Document Generation" toggle and change the value for "Batch Docgen Percent Limit per Hour" to 100% by entering a value of "1" in the field. Press Continue.

Data Cloud

Once you have taken the above steps, initiate the process to enable Data Cloud by filling-out this google form. A team member will field your request and enable Data Cloud on your newly created org. Post provisioning of the license, follow the “Steps to setup DataCloud and CSV Import on the target org” in this quip.

Get hands-on using Revenue Cloud Advanced leveraging the Partner Developer Edition (PDE) from the Demo Org tab within Partner Learning Camp.

Demo Org Access

Where do I get access to a Revenue Cloud Advanced Demo / Developer org?

Scratch Org:

Via Environment Hub, a partner can create a scratch org which includes Revenue Cloud Advanced. When creating the org, simply utilize the commands outlined in this article. Optionally, Agents can also be enabled by including these commands in the org definition.

Training Org:

Create Training orgs via Environment Hub. Salesforce provides a pre-configured org with Revenue Cloud reference data to complete the Hands-On components within the Journey Map (download the Journey Map for enablement content).
The Journey Map is the key to understanding all the Revenue Cloud Advanced features and functions since launch.

To complete the Journey Map hands-on exercises:

Use the Trialforce ID above to create an RCA enabled Training Org via Environment Hub
Follow these steps to complete the Org setup:

Go to the App Launcher-> Revenue Cloud -> Home.
- On the right part of the screen, there is a section titled "Finish Setup"
- Click the link to finish setting up
Update the Document Generation Settings in Setup.
- Go to Setup -> Document Generation Settings -> Select "Edit" on the DocGen record
- Enable the "Enable Batch Document Generation" toggle and change the value for "Batch Docgen Percent Limit per Hour" to 100% by entering a value of "1" in the field.
- Press Continue

Demo Org (SDO):

The Simple Demo Org now has Revenue Cloud Advanced! In addition to all of the standard SDO offerings of years past, the SDO contains the legacy CPQ & Billing Managed Packages, as well as Agents and Data Cloud! Create an SDO via the Demo Org Tab in Partner Learning Camp.

Partner Developer Edition (PDE):

The Partner Developer Edition for Revenue Cloud is available via the Demo and Dev Station. Navigate to the ‘Specialized Orgs’ section.

This is the first time our valued partners have access to:

A unified template with Revenue Cloud Advanced (including Agentforce)!
No 30 day expiry limit
Not preconfigured
Developer Edition orgs are bound only by org inactivity, outlined HERE)
